The Our Lady of Marian Blooms Pilgrimage

For the Catholic woman looking to travel intentionally + inspirationally

The fourth Catholic Feminist Pilgrimage is happening March 29 - April 8, 2027, in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. I’m over the moon to be partnering with speaker, author, and your favorite Catholic Texan, Kathryn Whitaker.

Download the brochure for the entire schedule, but here are some of our highlights:

  • A few days in Paris, one of my favorite cities in the world, where we’ll see the newly reopened Notre Dame as well as Sacre-Cour and Sainte-Chappelle. All three are stunning tributes to the faith and churches that I personally believe every Catholic should see before they die! The croissants! The cobblestones! The cafes!

  • A champagne tasting on the way to Belgium 🍾

  • Bruges, a charming town that features Michaelangelo’s Madonna and Child statue

  • Our Lady of Banneux, where the “Virgin of the poor” appeared to an 11-year-old girl multiple times

  • A beer tasting in the heart of beer country 🍻

  • The Cathedral of Our Lady, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest Gothic church in the Netherlands

  • The town of Lisse, which is home of the world-famous Keukenhof flower show 🌷

Here’s what’s important to remember, though, more than the schedule or the details: it’s that this is a pilgrimage. Not a mission trip where you’re serving others, not a vacation where you’re dancing on tabletops, not a study-abroad course where you’re stuffing in as much information as possible. This is a trip for your heart + soul, so that you can return refreshed to your day-to-day life, ready to tackle life’s trials and tribulations more in tune with the Holy Spirit.

I know—it’s a lot of time off work, and a lot of money, and a lot of time you’re asking your mom to watch your kids. I get it, truly, as a working mom of three. And maybe you can’t make it work. There’s desire, and there’s reality, and these things can’t always meld together as well as we’d like them to.

But maybe you can. Maybe if you asked. Maybe if you saved up. Maybe, maybe, maaaaaybe your mom and mother-in-law and bestie can all pitch in with the childcare? Possibly?

My point, friend: you won’t know until you ask. And my bigger point: I just want you to pray about it. Just ask God if this is a trip he wants to take you on. And if it is, he’ll make it happen. He always does.

What are people saying about Catholic Feminist Pilgrimages? Pull up a chair and pour yourself a glass of bubbly:

“Best. Decision. Ever! I found myself surrounded by the most amazing and welcoming, loving, like-minded women, and suddenly I had found a new group of favorite people. We are still all in touch, and have made a lasting sisterhood and prayer community. It’s just what the Holy Spirit had ordered for me, and what I had been praying for, without even knowing it.” - Beth, 2021 pilgrim

“The pilgrimage was a time of great grace for me. I was not only inspired by the lives of our patron saints, but also those of the incredible people around me. It was a beautiful reminder that I am not alone in striving for sainthood as a woman in today's culture: a reminder I definitely needed!” - Ellen, 2021 pilgrim

“Overall, a very worthwhile experience!  I have come home with deep insights to further reflect and meditate on.” - Shelley, 2025 pilgrim

"Claire is incredibly intentional in planning a pilgrimage in the footsteps of great saints of the Church. I loved the many opportunities for both personal and community prayer in holy places along with fellowship with other pilgrims who quickly became friends." - Megan, 2025 pilgrim

“What a beautiful, amazing pilgrimage. I loved the focus on St. Mary Magdalene and all the wonderful women saints around her. It was such a blessing to have Fr. Galante for the sacraments and Mass everyday. I’m just beginning to realize the blessings. I feel close to my new sisters.” - Cathy, 2025 piglrim
